Well this is what I have been doing since yesterday morning, and boy I am glad I have finished it.
I was asked to make a cake for my friends daughter, she is 21 tomorrow, yes I think I can just about remember that far back..
She asked for a bright pink cake with coloured candles so that's what I gave her.
I do hope she likes it as I have never done this before, got to say icing a cake is a real skill, a skill I have yet to master.
I found the idea on flicker, Mmmm they did look some what better than mine, but hey you can only do your best.
Tomorrow it's back to what I know I can do, yes painting!
Oh but before I go, I follow a really nice blogger called Coco Rose Textiles and today she is doing a cracker of a give away "have a peek" you never know you might get to win, below is the prize. Yes these wonderful mugs by a company called TG Green.
I rather fancy a set of these.

If I don't get to be the lucky winner of the mugs, I will be dropping humongous hints to Hubby for these as my Valentines gift.
oh my god that cake is amazing !!! You must be delighted with it and I'm sure your friend, and her daughter will be over the moon :o)
